Miistakis Institute and partners recently hosted a well-attended webinar highlighting the Reconnecting the Rockies – Alberta project.

Reconnecting the Rockies – Alberta is a collaborative wildlife research and monitoring program along Highway 3 in southeastern Alberta. 117 participants joined to hear from Maria Didowsky, Senior Biologist with Alberta Environment and Protected Areas, and Dr. Clayton Lamb, Wildlife Scientist with Biodiversity Pathways. Presenters shared updates on the project’s use of remote cameras and GPS collars to study elk, grizzly bear, and mule deer movement across the region. To view a recording of the webinar, please visit the Miistakis Institute YouTube Channel.
